About Amanda

I'm Amanda – a culturally mindful and empathetic counsellor who believes deeply in the power of human connection to heal and transform. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for your unique story.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Australia, I've developed a strong connection to both cultures. My early career in global customer service training sharpened my communication skills and taught me the universal importance of understanding, emotional safety, and meaningful connection—values that now shape my counselling practice.
Family and community are at the heart of everything I do. As a mother of three young adults and a wife of many years, I understand the complexities of family life—the joys, the struggles, and everything in between. These personal experiences have deepened my empathy and shaped my belief in what truly matters in relationships. This passion also inspired me to establish the Music Children Foundation, where I find great joy in helping underprivileged children and families experience positive change through music and creativity.
